The processing of some types of game meat, such as wild boar or reindeer, begins in the forest and fields. The hunted animals are broken open and gutted on site. They must then be cooled to a core temperature of 7 ºC within 24 hours. Only game that has been able to find its habitat freely is processed. The wild boar and reindeer from which our meat comes live in the vast open spaces and forests. The meat is naturally less contaminated as the animals feed naturally in their hunting grounds. Our medicinal herb mixture - centaury makes all the difference All our biologically appropriate dog foods are formulated with the dog's genetic origin in mind. It is not just the high meat content that makes the difference, but our "secret recipe" is our special blend of medicinal herbs. We use valuable plants such as yucca extract, nettle, blackberry leaves, yarrow, fennel, caraway, camomile flowers, mistletoe, gentian root and the special medicinal plant centaury. Centaury is a relative of gentian, promotes digestive activity and stimulates the production of digestive juices.
