What clothing does my dog need?
The correct fit of clothing gives your dog a high level of comfort and freedom of movement. The right size is crucial for an optimal fit. To determine the right size, you need your dog's back length and chest circumference.
Back length
Measure the back with a flexible measuring tape from the shoulder blades to the base of the tail. Your dog should stand up straight for an accurate measurement. The clothing must be long enough to optimally protect the back from the cold or wet, but must not cover the tail or restrict the dog's freedom of movement.
Chest circumference
Measure the chest circumference behind the front legs at the widest part of the ribcage. Place the measuring tape once around the dog's chest. Based on the chest circumference, you can see whether your dog needs a normal, pug & co or dachshund size.
Tip: If your dog is an intermediate size, choose the larger size so that your dog has enough freedom of movement.

These harmful perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals are often used in the outdoor sector in the manufacture of waterproof membranes and water and dirt-repellent coatings. For the benefit of people, animals and the environment, we completely dispense with PFCs and instead use the environmentally friendly "Teflon EcoElite™ impregnation". The jacket is also wind-repellent and breathable. The special "Pug & Co." size is ideal for dogs with a broad chest, such as pugs or bulldogs. The Dachshund cut is suitable for the special body shape of Dachshunds and other dogs with a narrow, long back.
CLEANING TIP
The Amundsen winter jacket can be washed on a gentle cycle at 30 degrees. Please use mild detergent and no fabric softener. The jacket should be air dried and not tumble dried.
