The Halti harness was developed by Roger Mugford to stop dogs pulling by giving you full control over the dog's chest. It uses the same principle as the Halti Headcollar, with the difference that the harness is guided by the chest rather than the head as with the Headcollar. The Halti harness is ideal for dogs that do not like the headcollar or cannot wear it for any reason.
The patented front control system guides the dog by the chest and shoulders and thus determines the direction in which it should move. Unlike other anti-pull harnesses, the Halti harness always remains comfortable and does not exert painful pressure on the dog's body. Ideally, the harness should be combined with a double lead to achieve maximum control. The ring at the back, above the shoulders, serves as a brake, while the front eyelet is used for control.
