MANDALA & STERN from My Intelligent Dogs® are games of skill that you can vary from easy to difficult depending on the number of game pieces (hats and rollers). The hats and rollers must be moved along the game tracks so that the "obstacles" (the rollers) can be removed, the hats lifted and the hidden treats found.

Skill and patience are required to get to the rewards. Your dog trains his fine motor skills and the ability to coordinate different movement sequences. We recommend starting with the somewhat easier game STERN - this will prepare your dog for playing the next level with MANDALA.

MANDALA & STERN is supplied with 20 game pieces (10 hats and 10 rollers each).

And this is how it works:

1. Step 1: Hide suitable treats under the hats.
2. Step 2: Encourage your dog - for example by showing him where a reward is waiting for him - to start searching.
3. Step 3: Your dog gets to the rewards under the hats by first lifting the rollers, then moving the hats and finally lifting them.
4. Step 4: Praise your dog every time he finds something and let him continue searching.

Tips:
Play with your dog and encourage him to solve the tasks. Stay calm and be patient until your dog has understood the game thanks to your explanation. Never let your dog play unobserved and intervene if he starts to bite the game. Do not let your dog search for more than 10 minutes, otherwise he may lose interest. Distract him with something else and resume the game a little later. A few days' break from MANDALA & STERN and playing other games from the My Intelligent Dogs® game collection will keep your dog happy again.
