The game pieces can only be brought in and out through two openings, on the left-hand side of the game (first zero) and on the right-hand side (eight). There are two movable sliders between the numbers, which close or open the guides in the numbers - depending on whether the dog moves these sliders in the right direction or not.

The game is categorised as very difficult (4 paws on a scale of 1 to 4). The level of difficulty can be varied by positioning the game's sliders accordingly. If the sliders are aligned with the guides in the numbers, the game is easier to solve. If the sliders first have to be guided to the number guides by the dog, the game is much more difficult.

The level of difficulty can also be influenced by the number of tokens (hats) used.

Agent 008 is recommended for keeping dogs mentally occupied. As very intelligent animals, they need a species-appropriate balance to physical activity (walking, running, agility); otherwise their mental abilities are not sufficiently challenged. This can lead to unwanted behaviour in the dog: Aggression, separation anxiety, frustration, destructiveness, restlessness or impatience.
