Absolutely non-toxic material - certified according to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 - Made in Germany!

The filter is a sponge-like permanent filter, i.e. it lasts for many months and can and should be washed out or boiled regularly to keep it germ-free and clean. In general, however, the filter is not necessary for normal operation - it is only intended as an aid for cats with long hair or for cat lovers who have several cats using the Lucky Kitty or whose cats like to bring cat litter or food scraps into the drinking fountain. Of course, it's also great for short-haired cats if you want to save on cleaning. The Lucky Kitty cat fountain then needs to be cleaned less often. Nevertheless, we recommend at least one thorough cleaning per week, for the sake of the cats.

The filter is simply placed in the base bowl - please ensure that the pump is positioned exactly in the centre of the base bowl. Please do not forget to clean the filter regularly and pour hot or boiling water over it and, if necessary, descale it from time to time.

Safety: the material fulfils the high ÖKO-TEX Standard 100 and is free from harmful substances in accordance with the REACH regulation. Product class I has been tested for baby articles, i.e. the parts are free from toxic and hazardous substances even if swallowed.
