How to determine the right size for your dog

LEUCHTIE is pulled over the head as a closed ring. Therefore, it is not the neck circumference but the head circumference that is decisive (for exceptions, see point 3).

The LEUCHTIE size corresponds to the tightly measured circumference of the dog's head at the thickest point, i.e. just before the ears.

The correct size is very easy to determine:

• Measure the circumference of your dog's head at the thickest point - i.e. just in front of the ears - using a tape measure. If you do not have a tape measure to hand, please take a piece of string or similar and measure with a folding rule. Please measure closely.
• Select the closest size. If you are between two sizes, round down rather than up.
• Does your dog have a larger neck than head circumference, e.g. because of a thick, long-haired fur collar (Aussie, Collie, Newfoundland, etc.)? Then please measure the neck circumference as an additional size at the point and in the width where the LEUCHTIE should later sit and use this as a guide when choosing the size.
