The Cooling Wrap is safe for your dog as it mimics the natural cooling process of our bodies. Simply soak the waistcoat in cold water, squeeze out the water and it's ready to cool. As the cold water evaporates, a cooling reaction occurs, helping your dog stay cooler for longer.
The remarkable absorption power of the thin microfibres of the inner layer does what conventional fibres cannot and provides a longer-lasting cooling effect. The waistcoat's three-dimensional mesh fabric directs airflow, allowing moisture to evaporate from the cooling layer, while the technical, moisture-wicking knit fabric of the lining feels comfortable even when wet.
The Cooling Wrap is designed to cover the areas of the dog's body that improve cooling, namely the chest and its large blood vessels, as well as the lungs. Blood circulation spreads the cooling effect of the waistcoat throughout the body, so that the garment no longer needs to cover the majority of the dog's body.
