The new joint powder for dogs and cats is based on the same effective formula as the original preparation, but contains two plant-based ingredients instead of milk powder: Carrot powder and coconut flour. Now also for horses. What has long been used in dogs and cats as Arthridonum H is now also available for horses - as a new type of joint remedy without milk powder. Under the name Arthridonum K, all horse owners receive an effective nutritional supplement based on three tried and tested ingredients: Chondroitin, glucosamine and MSM. This powerful trio is flanked by two plant-based ingredients: Carrot powder and coconut flour.

What is Arthridonum?

The birth of Arthridonum goes back to the well-known Hamburg vet Dirk Schrader, who adapted the joint remedy for the German market and made it available to the Heilkraft founders. True to the well-known saying "Nomen est omen", the name says it all: the Latin word Arthron stands for "joint" and "Donum" for gift. The letter K symbolises the new ingredients carrot and coconut and is euphoniously similar to the Hamburg original Arthridonum H. A gift for joints - beneficial and effective.

The tried and tested combination of active ingredients in Arthridonum K

• Glucosamine is an endogenous amino sugar and a natural component of cartilage, connective tissue and synovial fluid.
• Chondroitin - also known as chondroitin sulphate - is a natural polysaccharide that is produced by the body to build up cartilage tissue.
• MSM is a sulphur compound and the third most abundant mineral in the human and animal body. Known as methylsulfonylmethane or dimethylsulfone, the active ingredient can favour the body's own natural joint structure, in particular the joint cartilage, as well as the supporting apparatus.
