It contains little calcium but a lot of phosphorus, which needs to be corrected with a balanced mineral feed. Heat treatment during the rolling process inactivates fat-splitting enzymes in the oat grain and makes the grains stable. The disadvantages of hydrothermally treated rolled oats, such as fungal growth and fat spoilage, which occur during the normal crushing process with an oat crusher, are eliminated. Due to the improved shelf life, our rolled oats are slightly molassed.
