How do I use the ADAPTIL® spray?

• Shake the spray bottle
• Apply 8 to 10 sprays to objects or equipment (car, transport box, kennel) 15 minutes before the desired effect or 15 minutes before the dog is brought into the relevant environment.
• The effect lasts for about 4 to 5 hours, but individual animals react differently.
• ADAPTIL® is re-sprayed after 4 to 5 hours or if you notice that the effect is diminishing.
• The ADAPTIL® spray can be sprayed directly onto lying areas, baskets, transport boxes or in the car or kennel. Please ensure that the dog is not in the vicinity during spraying. Please leave the sprayed object (cushion, transport box, etc.) to dry for at least 15 minutes before giving it to the dog. This allows the alcohol, which acts as a carrier for the pheromones, to evaporate.
