Our organic chicken meat comes exclusively from happy free-range chickens that are reared and fed in accordance with strict organic requirements. These chickens enjoy a balanced diet consisting of the farm's own grain, which is processed on site in our own feed mills. They also receive nutritious peas and beans. The chickens have spacious runs planted with poplars and shrubs, and they can find shelter from hunting birds of prey in shelters. To minimise feather pecking, they are given dust baths of rock flour and sand as well as sufficient straw in the stables. Even in winter, they are kept busy by feeding them silage.
