Hartog Compact grass has the following special properties:

• Low dust and mould-free
• Guaranteed free from ragwort
• Less storage space required
• Ideal in combination with the Hartog feed box

A small bale of Compact Grass weighs approx. 20 kg and measures 50 x 30 x 30 cm (in comparison: a bale of hay measures 110 x 50 x 40 cm), which means you need significantly less storage space.

The special grass mixture for Compact Grass is dried quickly at a high temperature. This preserves the nutritional values, vitamins and minerals better. The high temperature destroys bacteria and mould spores and the product has a consistent quality.
