The base is a box with two sliding panels on a hexagonal wooden board. There are two slots in the opposite walls of this box through which a plate can be pushed. Strings are attached to the end of the board to allow the dog to pull the board out of the slots. There are openings in the plate for inserting tokens (for two hats and five rollers). There are grooves and openings in the base corresponding to the plate openings.
The disc is fixed in place by inserting the tokens through the disc into the openings and grooves in the base. There are two additional openings for the rollers outside the box. If you also fix the strings of the disc over these rollers, the game takes on the most difficult level.
Above the tiles, approximately in the centre of the box, there is a lid with a cord and two openings for the rollers. The "Swiss Qube" is closed from above by two sliding panels. The plates leave a gap in the centre of the box so that the dog can push them to the side with its paw or snout and reach the lid placed underneath.
And this is how it works:
- Step 1: Place treats in the indentations in the base. Then pull the plate through the lower slots in the box. Insert two hats through the plate first and push them through the base to the end of the centre groove. Insert the rollers into the three remaining openings. Secure the plate with the two rollers so that the cords are pulled over the rollers.
- Step 2: Place the lid with the string over the tokens. Place the treats in the two openings in the lid and cover them with two rollers.
- Step 3: Close the box with the two sliding panels. Give the dog the command to play.
Tip:
It is recommended to start the game with fewer tiles at the beginning. Otherwise your dog could lose interest if he cannot solve the game after a few attempts. Let your dog watch while you hide the treats in the game to arouse his curiosity. Be patient, show him how the game works and motivate him. This will ensure that your dog enjoys playing together and completes the task correctly.
Never let your dog play unobserved and intervene if he starts to bite the toy. Check toys regularly for damage, such as splinters of wood. Please do not use damaged toys. Wipe the product with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh cleaning agents.
What else should be considered?
"Swiss Qube" is made of FSC®-certified wood that has been coated with a layer of transparent varnish that is harmless to humans and animals. The game should be protected from moisture, otherwise the wooden parts may swell. Only use dry dog snacks to play with "Swiss Qube".
Swiss Qube" encourages your dog's natural instincts: Play instinct, curiosity and sense of smell. Intelligence games make a significant contribution to giving your dog a meaningful activity that promotes his intelligence.
