Heilkraft hemp pellets are made from the German industrial hemp Cannabis Sativa L. and have a native CBD content of around 1 %. The THC content is less than 0.1 %. We do not use any additives such as molasses or grain and trust nature. With the ancient crop plant hemp, nature has produced the best that the organism of our animals could wish for. By processing the plant gently, we simply help it to become a digestible and easy-to-dose form: pellets suitable for the mouth. It goes without saying that our pellets contain no colourings, flavourings, preservatives or binding agents.

Hemp pellets from sustainable cultivation

We work exclusively with trustworthy hemp farmers and attach great importance to sustainable field cultivation. Our industrial hemp comes from pesticide-free cultivation. We also do not use any other pesticides such as herbicides or fertilisers. This means you can give your pet 100% natural hemp pellets. Although our products are not labelled with an organic seal, the CBD pellets are no less carefully produced. This is not magic with hemp either. The plant is naturally very robust, not susceptible to disease and fast-growing - organic cultivation is feasible even without certificates.

Hemp pellets from gentle cold pressing

In contrast to hemp bedding, which is used as a substitute for straw or wood shavings, pellets are used as a feed supplement. Our small press cakes come from the first cold pressing and consist of cut hemp plants: Flowers, seeds and stem pith, which have a fairly high residual oil content. Thanks to gentle processing at low temperatures, the valuable components are not destroyed. This guarantees the full splendour of natural ingredients for which hemp is so highly valued. The power hemp pellets are only loosely pressed, so they have less volume and can be easily soaked in a little liquid or crumbled if required.

Cannabis Sativa L.: A powerhouse of ingredients

The sativa plant is a small marvel of nature. Hidden inside hemp are countless vital substances that are utilised by the body. The valuable natural substances include essential amino acids and polyunsaturated fatty acids omega 3 and 6, which are found in hemp seeds and hemp oil in an optimal ratio of 3:1. Cannabis Sativa L. is also rich in minerals and trace elements such as copper, zinc, manganese, iron and calcium. Science has identified around 500 chemical compounds in different cannabis varieties - including cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids. The enormous repertoire of effects of the hemp plant appears to be due to the interaction of the individual active ingredients: The special composition of all the ingredients is crucial.

Hemp pellets for animals

Our power hemp pellets are ideal as a regular feed supplement, but can also be fed as a cure. Depending on requirements, you can feed the pellets whole, crumbled or softened with water. As they are only lightly pressed, they are not hard and compact, but can be easily crushed. For dogs, our hemp pellets are available in a 200 g pack. Larger animals can look forward to the 1.8 kg pack. For an animal weighing up to 500 kg, the quantity is sufficient for 36 days, for larger animals for approx. 26 days.

Application: How are hemp pellets served?

We recommend feeding slowly so that the body can gradually become accustomed to the various active ingredients. Depending on the intensity of the symptoms, you can increase the amount of pellets up to twice as much.
