The chickens are fed with the farm's own grain, which is processed in the farm's own feed mill, as well as peas and beans. The animals have large runs planted with poplars and shrubs. Additional huts provide shelter from hunting birds of prey. To prevent feather pecking, the stables are equipped with dust baths made of rock flour and sand, as well as sufficient straw. To keep the chickens as busy as possible, silage is also fed in winter.
