The recipe is complemented by local superfoods such as organic vegetables, fruit and herbs: potatoes, apples, carrots and a pinch of dried nettles. The biscuits are easy to digest, grain-free and contain no added preservatives, colourings, flavourings or sugar.

• Saithe provides high-quality animal protein, unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and trace elements such as iodine.
• Potatoes are alkalising, contain numerous antioxidants and lots of potassium. They are also a good source of carbohydrates and provide plenty of fibre and vitamins.
• Nettles contain numerous important nutrients such as B vitamins, potassium, calcium and iron. Nettle has a draining effect and stimulates kidney activity and metabolism.
• Apples contain a lot of vitamin C. They are also helpful for stomach and intestinal complaints, constipation and diarrhoea and are increasingly being used as a natural remedy for dogs.
• Carrots are rich in fibre and therefore also have a beneficial effect on intestinal activity. They also contain carotenoids, which can be converted into vitamin A by dogs.
